If you’re looking for an antique feel, the random line patterns of the HelioEtch® resemble the “metal etch” techniques which are a lot thicker and coarser, even at a similar lines per inch. Suggested subjects would be landscapes, furniture, clothing and people. The HelioEtch® is a highly stylized conversion that is used for its specific screen effects rather than to hold great amounts of detail. This technique is available in line screens from 55 to 100.
